▪️The Dobbs decision did the exact opposite of what this meme suggests. It had no opinion whatsoever on what women can do with their bodies, it returned the power to regulate abortions back to the states. Ironically, they actually WANT the court to have an opinion on what women can do with their bodies, just the one they agree with.
▪️It may seem like the left is clueless about reality, until you realize they use language differently. Not to communicate but to manipulate. They absolutely want to tell women what they can do with their bodies, if and when it suits them. They don’t hold it as any sort of principle, only as a slogan to manipulate and get what they want.
▪️You can see this clearly with the word “democracy.” For years, it was nonstop fears about “attacks on our democracy.” Then, when an unelected court removes Trump from a state’s ballot, they cheer.
▪️Because the concern was never about democracy, but their agenda and power. They don’t use the word to describe a particular political system or principle. They know democracy has a good connotation for most people, so use it as a means to manipulate and get what they want.
It’s just so wild to see these movements see saw, it feels like just yesterday that conservatives were boycotting Disney and the left was gloating.
Just incredible. After posting a meme blaming Charlie Kirk for his own murder, they post another a few hours later applauding Democrats for their civility.
Also, if you look at the Occupy Democrats timeline, their posts “denouncing political violence” were variations on “no one should be shot…BUT here’s a quote from Kirk showing he’s a terrible person.” Or sometimes they’d leave the first part out altogether and just attack him. There are no posts denouncing violence without qualifiers trying to gin up their base.
